My Favourite Designers in Singapore 💙
Since Badt and Co. was launched in Singapore 5 years ago, we have had the chance to navigate in the Singapore design scene, discovering talented creative minds and getting to know the wonderful souls that are behind such unique designs.
Join us into a series of conversations with our favourite designers in Singapore, where we will share with you why we love them… and why they love us.
Every week we will be putting the spotlight on one of these beautiful creative designers. This week we are proud to present you Elizabeth Little.
Meet our friend Eileen, a multi-talented mother of three who dedicates attention and passion to things well done. Take the time to embark with her into an heirloom journey.
- Why Badt and Co. loves Elizabeth Little? -
If you have held a piece of Elizabeth Little in your hands, you will know why we love the timeless craftsmanship and the careful attention to details that make the difference. Eileen embarked into the entrepreneurial life to be able to devote time to her children: first as a much-acclaimed pastry chef, and now as Founder and Head Designer of Elizabeth Little. Working with the finest Liberty of London fabrics and Japanese linen and cotton, her hand-smocking dresses bring us to the memory lane for generations to come. Luckily for us, she also has some adult skirts, and when you have her 3-ply masks, you might even forget you are wearing one!
- Why Elizabeth Little loves Badt and Co.? -
I love that every shoe by Badt and Co. has a story, the time taken by each craftsman to make each pair and the passion behind craftsmanship. Besides its stylish aesthetics, Samira put utmost attention to the comfort of each pair and I love her curation of designs that suit our tropical climate. I have 3 young children and am constantly on the run. My go-to-daily would be espadrilles from Badt and Co., which bring me from daily duties to lunch gatherings and dinner parties, all in 1 pair!
